HOW TO GROW🌱

We recommend planting them in sunny or partially shaded locations in well-drained soil where they will thrive. We supply high quality two year old rose bushes. Please note: Roses usually have the strongest scent on warm sunny days when they are in moist soil. It is important to mimic these conditions as this will release the scent chemicals contained in the flowers. High humidity prolongs the longevity of the scent by reducing the chance of the chemicals evaporating.

It is vital that roses are planted firmly, so that winds do not damage or disturb the roots. Apply a balanced fertiliser every 3-4 weeks in spring/summer and it is also recommended to apply a mulch in winter for protection. Can be pruned to remove dead wood or growth. Roses are best planted in winter or early spring, providing there is little frost. To plant, dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots when they are fully spread out. Spread the roots evenly around the hole and add a little fine soil to which a small amount of crushed bone has been added. Then fill with 5cm of ordinary soil over the roots and firm down firmly. As a general rule, the planting depth for roses will vary between 10-20cm, but examining the plants should give you a clear idea of ​​the depth at which to plant.
